FOR RAYONA & FAMILY

A trip with a little more meaning.

Fifteen years of marriage. Three children taking their first international trip. Rayona, this first look at Japan brings those two occasions together—with time for Disney, Japanese food and a few discoveries as a family.

All costs are preliminary estimates from current and historical benchmarks, including hotel examples from other dates. They are not confirmed November 2027 rates or availability.

We’re starting with comfortable flights, a spacious family room and two proposed Disney days. Alongside the parks: shopping, a family outing and a traditional Japanese dinner for your anniversary. We’ll work through the details with you; this is a first look at the experience and its possible cost.

A FIRST LOOK AT THE COST · ALL FIVE TRAVELERS

Two more days for Tokyo.

With three children taking their first international flight, we recommend adding at least two nights if your family’s schedule allows. After a long flight and a significant time difference, a little flexibility can help. Your original dates offer about three full days in Japan, with two proposed for Disney. Extra nights give you more room to rest, adjust and enjoy Tokyo beyond the parks at a less rushed pace. November 17–24 is an example of our minimum recommended extension; a longer stay is also an option. If you need to keep your original dates, we’ll plan around them and prioritize what matters most to your family.

BEYOND THE PARKS

A few days to get to know Tokyo.

An unhurried walk through Asakusa, a shopping stop, or an aquarium the children would enjoy. Extra days let us choose a few things you’ll all look forward to, with time to adjust after the flight.

    OUR PLANNING NOTES

    A few decisions to consider.

    01 / Flights

    Comfort on the flight.

Premium economy is our starting recommendation for the children’s first flight. Family seats together need confirmation. Extra-legroom economy is suitable only with available non-exit-row seats for the whole family.

    02 / Hotels

    The right room for five.

Hilton Tokyo Bay Happy Magic, Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay, and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are benchmark ideas. Confirm legal occupancy for five, bed layout, room size and taxes before committing. We’ll look for bunk beds where available.

    03 / Your anniversary

    A traditional Japanese dinner.

We’ll look for a traditional Japanese restaurant that welcomes children and suits your family’s preferences. The current plan places dinner after Disneyland on November 20, so we’d allow time to leave the park, change and travel to the restaurant.

    How the numbers work

The original trip allows for three full days of meals, plus a half-day food allowance on arrival and a half-day on departure. We then remove one ordinary dinner and add the anniversary dinner separately. Each extra night adds one full day of dining. These are flexible allowances for all five of you; we’ll adjust them when flight times are known. Meals outside Japan are excluded. Hotel is four nights. Disney is two proposed days, held constant when extending. Ground transport and activities are whole-trip allowances.

Reference extension budgets: $635 budget, $920 comfortable, $1,810 luxury per family per day + night, excluding airfare changes. Your custom extension uses the selected hotel nightly amount + food + an explicitly modeled local transport allowance ($25/$40/$80) + activities ($49.25/$47.50/$270). These planning allowances reconcile those reference totals; they are not verified supplier prices. No repeat airport transfer or anniversary dinner is added.

Ranges reflect the supplied benchmark bands, not a forecast confidence interval. Shopping, if entered, is included. Insurance, passports, entry requirements, unforeseen charges, exchange-rate changes and airfare changes are excluded. All benchmarks are preliminary, including hotel rates from other dates, and require a fresh quote for November 2027.
